SP DX Contest 2017

Thanks for participation in the SP DX Contest 2017.

We have the pleasure to present the final results of the SP DX Contest 2017. We have received 1814 logs from 79 countries of all continents. Thanks for your participation. The activity on this level was possible only thanks to great contesters from all over the World (despite of really bad propagation conditions during the contest weeked). Thanks for it!

Propagation conditions were too bad for high scores. Especially in Poland: no score in any category was placed in All Time Top Ten. But some new continental records were set from other continents:

  • DL2SAX set the new European record in SO 40M CW with the score of 15.648 points. IZ2DLV in the same category achieved 15.216 points which places his score on the second place of all time records for EU in SO 40M CW.

  • YF3CXB from Indonesia set the new record for Oceania in SO 80M PHONE with the final score of 1.056 points. It was the first ever entry in the SP DX Contest from Oceania in that category and the 32 QSOs made to Polish stations on 80 meters is really worth mentioning.

  • ZL2IFB set the new record for Oceania in SO 40M CW with the final score of 2.928 points.

  • FY5KE set the new record for South America in SO 40M CW with the final score of 3.234 points.

Congratulations!!!

We give a big hand to the sponsors of contest trophies. The offical presentation of the results will take place during the annual meeting of the SP DX Club (September 15 - 17, 2017) and soon after that we will be sending out trophies and awards.

Finally, please accept our cordial invitation to join us in the SP DX Contest 2018.
